The Jewish Federation of Greater Portland mourns the loss of life and the destruction caused by the devastating mudslide that hit the Snohomish County community of Oso on Saturday, March 22.
At least 26 people lost their lives and there are potentially 90 missing people. Hundreds of first responders and searchers are on the scene, braving hazardous conditions to search for survivors in the debris field.
