Interfaith Advocacy Day with the CRC

As part of Interfaith Advocacy Day on Feb. 11 at the State Capitol, the Jewish Federation's Community Relations Committee met with State Senator Richard Devlin to discuss healthcare for seniors, child nutrition programs, wage theft and measures to prevent gun violence.

Over 280 people representing a diversity of faiths spent the morning  learning about these important issues from a faith or moral perspective and then lobbied their representatives and senators during the afternoon.
