Oregon Hillel Introduces Matzo Ball Soup Hotline

Oregon Hillel is thrilled to announce the start of a brand new initiative, the Matzo Ball Soup Hotline.  Thanks to a generous gift from the Leonard & Lois Schnitzer Charitable Supporting Foundation and to the support of the Oregon Hillel Parents Club we are proud to introduce the Matzo Ball Soup Hotline.

Parents are now able to call 541-343-8920 x102 to order soup to be hand delivered to their child’s door (FREE of charge Monday-Friday) when they are sick or just need a quick pick me up from home.  Providing a positive Jewish memory and connection to home for the students on campus is such a mitzvah, and parents now have the peace of mind knowing that their child has free and easy access to a little Jewish penicillin!

It’s another great way that Oregon Hillel is building community, connecting students, inspiring Jewish leaders, and serving the Jewish student community at the University of Oregon as a Jewish home away from home!  For more information on the Matzo Ball Soup Hotline, Oregon Hillel, or how to invest in Jewish student life on campus at the University of Oregon please contact Andy Gitelson (andy@oregonhillel.org).
