The Oregon Board of Rabbis Presents Yom Hashoa: The Holocaust, memory and the Future

Yom Hashoah is the day set aside in the Jewish calendar to remember those six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust and to honor the lives of survivors.

Portland’s Jewish community will come together to hear personal stories from survivors, reflect on the meaning of remembrance for the next generation, and commemorate the six million with music and prayer.

Wednesday, April 15, 7:00 p.m.


Legacy Society Shabbat Dinner

Join us as we honor the members of the Legacy Society at Congregation Shaarie Torah with a special Kabbalat Service and Shabbat Dinner

Catered by Century Catering

Please note the different prices for this dinner:

$18 per adult, $12 per child, $57 per family.

Preschool Open House!

There are several open house events coming up for our preschool!

Come see Morah/Teacher Elizabeth “in action”, meet other parents, and see why everyone is checking us out!

The Carl Preschool is a play based Jewish co-operative preschool open to all that focuses on providing a warm, fun and creative environment where your child will laugh, learn and thrive.

This is the first of three chances to check us out!
