Stand Up To Hate

Racial bigotry, Anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, homophobia, sexism, or any other form of hatred cannot be eradicated unless each and every one of us confronts it within our own circles of influence, family, friends and acquaintances. Silence is seen as being morally equivalent to consent. It takes unusual courage to stand up for the other(s)! So you are invited to sign this pledge and invite others to do the same. We plan to circulate it as widely as possible using social media.

Help us spread the word!

While interacting with members of my own faith, ethnicity, and or gender community, as well as with others; if I hear hateful comments from anyone about members of any other community, I pledge to STAND UP for the other and speak up to challenge bigotry in any form. Click here to sign the pledge.

We are one interfaith family
We believe that every human being is created in the image of God (or the Creator)
We choose friendship
We are called to see human dignity flourish
