Adult and Teens Deep and Delicious Passover Seder — Shabbat Dinner
With a Taste of Theatre
Friday, April 3rd, 5:30 PM
At Gesher
With Rabbi Laurie and Rabbi Gary
Gesher’s Rabbis will invite you to tell our people’s story with them, as we understand it today, through our own eyes and ideas, as well as through the history of Jewish story telling for 3,000 years. The Passover Story is the Jewish people’s master story, and we will mine together what it means to us and what makes it so important for our people as we explore, from this year’s experience, what “being strangers in the land of Egypt” is about and what entering a promised land and having Torah as a gift could mean for us. Bring your story, bring your perspective, and come to enjoy singing and a delicious pescatarian Seder -Shabbat meal.
RSVP at https://www.ourjewishhome.org/passover-1 required by Tuesday, March 31.
The Seder will take place in a heated tent at Gesher, the home of Rabbi Laurie and Rabbi Gary. The address in SW Portland is on the website.Dress in layers for the weather.
