CAA and Portland Jewish Connections invite you to Sweets and Flavors of Tradition: Hands in the Kitchen (Dolci e Sapori della Tradizione: Mani in Cucina), a hands-on culinary experience inspired by the sweet side of Italian Sephardic tradition. In this interactive workshop, you’ll roll crisp ricotta and walnut cigars finished with warm chili honey, shape charoset truffles infused with Italian sweet wine and coated in pistachio or cocoa, and prepare silky ricotta cups with honey and bright citrus.

 

​Open to all skill levels, this class is less about perfection and more about the joy of working with your hands—creating beautiful, delicious bites rooted in tradition and brought to life with a fresh, modern touch.

 

We’ll also teach you how to make a signature cocktail designed just for this event (can be made without alcohol).

 

 

Afterwards, we'll enjoy the food together and then head over for a PJC Happy Hour in Hillsdale.
