Join friends new and old for an EJC Field Trip to Kiyokawa Family Orchards in Parkdale! Together we will pick apples, visit the farm strand, and learn more about one of the Hood River valley's finest orchards. Transportation and lunch are provided.

This FREE event is the first in a season-long pilot of cultural field trips and outings for Jewish elders made possible in part with funding from the Robison Foundation for Jewish Elders. Our bus is big enough for community members of all ages – come celebrate the season with us!
Field Trip Schedule
9:30am - meet at EJC, 2420 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland
10am - bus departs for Kiyokawa Family Orchards
11:30am - apple picking, farm stand visit, lunch
2pm - bus departs Kiyokawa Family Orchards
3:30pm - return to EJC
The Kiyokawa family has been farming in the Hood River valley since 1911, and Kiyokawa Family Orchards currently offers over 120 varieties of apples. Named "the best apple orchard in America" by USA Today, Kiyokawa Family Orchards has been featured on OPB and in the Wall Street Journal, among many others.
