Members of the Jewish Women's Storytelling Collective, Gail Pasternack, Cassandra Sagan, and Rivkah Coburn, will weave stories from their new, groundbreaking book, The Rooster Princess and Other Tales: Jewish Stories Repopulated with Spunky Heroines, Wise Women, Brave Crones and Powerful Prophetesses, Monkfish Press, 2025.

This innovative collection of Jewish tales puts a modern spin on Jewish folklore by substituting leading male characters will female ones in re-imagined traditional tales, original stories, folktales, and personal stores.
