Bio for Erin Ross:

Erin is the lead Covid-19 reporter for Oregon Public Broadcasting. Her work has also appeared in national and regional publications including Axios, NPR, Nature, Science, and Scientific American. Before becoming a science writer, Erin studied biology at Clark University and spent three years studying the spread of infectious disease in a disease ecology lab.
