Celebrate at Gesher with Rabbi Gary and Rabbi Laurie
On the First Night of Passover
Wednesday, April 1, 5:30 pm
Rabbi Laurie Rutenberg and Rabbi Gary Schoenberg of Gesher invite the community to join them for a delicious, nourishing and joyful Passover Seder , a Journey from Slavery to Freedom, All of us feel like strangers in a strange land from time to time. At the Passover seder, we create a community of strangers to reflect deeply on the story of the Jewish people’s journey into and out of Egypt, and reaching toward the Promised Land.We will reflect, as we do every year, on where we have been, what we have experienced and what we hope for now in our people's Passover story. Feast, journey, connect deeply, delight in a heated tent "at the edge of the Red Sea."
The Rabbis love to cook and will prepare Gesher's Seder. Gesher asks for your contribution of $45 - $72, sliding scale. Nobody is turned away for inability to contribute.
RSVP a MUST - at www.ourjewishhome.org by Monday, March 30. Have questions or want to help? - contact Rabbi Laurie 503 246-5070, or [email protected].
The Seder will be held outdoors, in a heated tent. Layer up, be ready to get costumed, and bring a pillow to sit on.
