The message & music resonates as universal root & Hebrew wisdom, a new multicultural spirit emerging from Israel, an inspirational program full of spirit, bridging races, ethnicities & religions.
About Gabriel:
Gabriel Meyer Halevy is a pioneer of new Hebrew sacred music, Jewish and Interfaith ritual and renewed spirituality in Israel. Gabriel was born and raised in Argentina at the time of dictatorship and became a committed human rights and spiritual activist with his father, the late Rabbi Marshall T. Meyer zt"l, (spiritual leader of New York’s legendary “BJ” - B’nai Jeshuran Synagogue.) A world traveler, Gabriel serves as ambassador of a renewed spirit of Israel, offering music, education and healing rooted in the prophetic values of the Jewish People: justice (Tzedek tzedek tirdof: justice, justice you shall pursue) and love (V’ahavta le’reacha kamocha: Love your neighbor as yourself.) Gabriel’s teaching draws from the wellsprings of Kabbalistic, Sufi and other sacred wisdom paths.
Gabriel has been involved in numerous grassroots and international peace gatherings for thousands of participants, developing the culture of listening and co-existence and co-founded the Sulha Peace Project for the Reconciliation & Healing of the Children of Abraham: Arabs & Jews, Israelis & Palestinians. In the past fifteen years, Gabriel has led rituals, concerts, and workshops for thousands of people around the world in diverse sites including North, Central and South America, Europe, India, Australia and the Middle East.
