Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer

Written and directed by Joseph Cedar. Norman Oppenheimer (Richard Gere) lives a lonely life in the margins of New York City power and money—a would-be operator dreaming up financial schemes that never come to fruition. An opportunist with nothing real to offer, Norman comically strives to ingratiate himself at every turn, but his incessant networking leads him nowhere until he meets a charismatic Israeli politician (Lior Ashkenazi). Suddenly, Norman finds himself in the middle of a geopolitical drama beyond anything he could have ever imagined and everyone wants to be his friend.
