To celebrate the conclusion of our community's second year in the LIFE & LEGACY program, the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation is bringing Rabbi Steven Z. Leder to Portland to deliver an inspiring presentation on "Being a Good Ancestor."

Named by Newsweek magazine as one of America's Ten Most Influential Rabbis, Rabbi Leder is the Senior Rabbi of Wilshire Boulevard Temple in Los Angeles and the author of The Extraordinary Nature of Ordinary Things and More Money Than God: Living a Rich Life Without Losing Your Soul.

Rabbi Leder will demonstrate that while we often fail to realize it, we are all ancestors in the making. On this celebratory evening, he will help each of us to become better ancestors for the generations of our family and our people yet to come.

Date and Time: Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 PM

Where: Mittleman Jewish Community Center, 6651 SW Capitol Highway, Portland
