Join Ben Murane of the New Israel Fund for an interactive exploration of a variety of definitions of a Jewish state – and how those definitions impact social justice, equality and religious freedom in Israel today.

Israel’s national character influences every facet of Israeli daily life from citizenship and immigration, national symbols and holidays, religious authority and state, war and peace, multiculturalism and equality for all citizens. How do we imagine Israel’s Jewishness? What are our Jewish values? How do those dreams and values find expression in a modern country with all its complexity and imperfection?
