Join Rabbi Yossi Feintuch of Congregation Shalom Bayit in Bend, Oregon for a Continuous Jewish Education Event (CJE) entitled, ''What does it mean to a Reconstructionist Jew?".

Rabbi Yossi is ordained by the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in 1994. Since ordination, he has served the Sephardic-Portuguese Jewish community on the island of Curacao, the oldest congregation in the Western Hemisphere (affiliated with Reconstructing Judaism), and the only synagogue in Columbia, MO, Congregation Beth Shalom. Rabbi Yossi moved to Central Oregon at the beginning of 2020 to serve as the Rabbi of Congregation Shalom Bayit who affiliated with Reconstructing Judaism in 2019.

Rabbi Yossi received academic degrees from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem (B.A. in International Relations and History), New York University (M.A. in History), and Emory University (Ph.D. in U.S. History); Rabbi Yossi was also awarded the degree of Doctor of Divinity, honoris causa by the HUC-JIR.
