Louisiana Flood Relief - Your support in action

Matching gift opportunity

Relentless flooding in August has devastated southern Louisiana, now a federal disaster area. Following severe storms, rising waters have killed many, destroyed countless homes and forced tens of thousands to flee for their lives—including Federation staff and many from the local Jewish community.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Portland, with your support, has raised funds to help the Federation of Greater Baton Rouge and other organizations as they meet urgent needs in Louisiana.

A generous community member has stepped up to double the efforts to help our friends in Louisiana. Donations of $36 or more given now until the end of September will be matched (up to $2500 in matching funds) – please give today.
