Congregation Beth Israel mourns the loss of Esther Ellen Dluger Dickstein, z”l, who passed away on Jan. 21, 2026, at the age of 79.

Esther is survived by her husband, Jack Dickstein; her daughter, Jessica Kushner (Uriel); her brother, Robert H. Dluger;  two beautiful grandchildren, and numerous additional family and friends. Esther is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ann (née Chanin) Dluger, z”l.

A funeral was held Monday, January 26, 2026, at Congregation Beth Israel. Donations in Esther’s memory can be made to Hadassah.
