Congregation Neveh Shalom is saddened to share the passing of Frances Joy Rabin, z"l, who died on August 10, 2026 at 99 years old. Joy is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughters Jan Harrington, Lori (Paul) Rabin Christiansen and Diane Rabin (Charlie Warner); grandchildren Jeff Herbrand & Michelle Herbrand, Erik Herbrand & Jamie Herbrand, Cameron Warner & Brittney Warner, Vanessa Warner & Thomas Kost, and Sean Harrington; and great grandchildren Ashley Herbrand, Casey Herbrand, Jake Herbrand, Riley Herbrand, Willa Kost, Miles Kost, Madeline Warner.

Joy was a preschool teacher at Foundation School for nearly 30 years, teaching 3-year-olds, and was a Sunday School teacher prior to transitioning to the Foundation School. Joy attended bible study classes with Rabbi Stampfer. Joy raised her 3 daughters with a focus on Jewish tradition. A family-first devoted wife, mother, and caregiver for her husband Milton.

A private funeral will be held with a celebration of life at a later date to be announced.
