It is with deep sadness that Congregations Shaarie Torah and Beth Israel announce the passing of Irene “Renie” Barbara Waltuck, z"l. Renie died on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the age of 78.

She is survived by Leland, her husband of 58 years; daughters Julianne (Craig) Bell, Michelle (Loren) Koplan and Shana (Ave) Galante; sisters Leslie (David) Cohen and Cori Overlund; brother Jay Lebenzon; sister-in-law Bernda Berger; and grandchildren Ali and Lizzie Koplan. She was predeceased by her parents, Sidney and Anne Carl, z"l and step-mother, Sue Lebenzon Carl, z"l.

The funeral was held Monday, May 11 at Shaarie Torah Cemetery. The family requests that donations in memory of Renie be made to BB Camp.
