It is with deep sadness that Congregation Shaarie Torah announces the passing of Jerry Newman ,z"l, beloved husband of Dora Newman. Jerry died Thursday evening, Aug. 1, 2024, just a few weeks shy of his 90th birthday.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dora Newman, children Francine Arron, Joel (Dawn) Newman, Sheri (John) Jones, and grandchildren Alexa and Zachary Arron and Keegan Jones. He was preceded in death by parents Alex and Jennie Newman, z"l, and son-in-law Ben Arron, z"l.

The funeral was held Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Shaarie Torah Cemetery.
