Congregation Beth Israel mourns the loss of Joan Lubar, z”l, who passed away on Nov. 14, 2025, at the age of 83.

Joan is survived by her sons, Larry and Nathan Sykes (Diane); her grandchildren, Drew and Maya Sykes; and her siblings, Charles and Nancy Lubar. Joan is preceded in death by her parents, Lenora Abrams and Nathan Lubar, z”l.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 13 at 11 am at Sunnyside Grange in Clackamas.
