It is with deep sadness that Congregation Shaarie Torah announces the passing of Lorraine Goldfoot, z”l. Lorraine passed away on Mar. 3, 2026.

She is survived by her children, Tamara (Robert) Jensen, Wendy (Thomas) Hardy and Charles Goldfoot; and by her four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Nathan Goldfoot, z”l, parents Harry and Frances Slifman, z”l and brothers Gary Slifman, z”l  and Marvin Slifman, z”l. Many people may remember hearing Lorraine’s beautiful voice as she sang at many services and simchas throughout the community.

Internment was held on March 6 at Willamette Cemetery.
