Congregations Beth Israel and Kesser Israel mourn the loss of Shannon Hicks, z”l, who passed away Aug. 6, 2026 at the age of 52.

Shannon is survived by her mother Donna Hicks, her husband Jack Rae, her sons Acir (18) & Amir (16) Benarroch, and Greg and Carol Drechsler, life long family friends. Shannon is preceded in death by her father, Billie Hicks, z”l.

A funeral was held Wednesday, Aug. 12, in Landau Chapel at the Beth Israel Cemetery. Donations in Shannon's name can be made to a charity of your choice.
