As many of you know I, along with many others, have been honored with the opportunity to support the building of a new community Mikvah in Portland. It is really coming together and we are hoping to break ground later this summer.
Since the beginning of this project, we knew there would need to be a community fundraising component. We will need to raise at least $75,000 to create the Mikvah that we envision, providing the "finishing touches" and ensuring the ongoing care of the building.
Please invite anyone you think would be interested in helping us raise funds and feel free to contact me with any thoughts, ideas, etc.
