ROSH HASHANAH SEDER, Teshuvah Workshop and praYers AT GESHER
This Rosh Hashanah Celebration, led by Rabbi Laurie Rutenberg and Rabbi Gary Schoenberg at Gesher, which is their home in the forest, will include a very, very festive pescatarian meal, a teshuvah* workshop and High Holy Day Prayers, all designed to welcome those who have not felt so at home in a synagogue. There is room for only 45 participants, so you will have to RSVP early. We would love you to bring an additional, luscious vegetarian dish to share to celebrate the new year, though it is not required.
RSVP a must at www.ourjewishhome.org.
Donation requested: $36/adult; $10/ child 10 and over. No one is turned away for inability to pay.
*Teshuvah is one of the keys to High Holy Days. It is the healing process when we move from missing the mark to confession to repair. It is the crucial force that underpins the movement from deep reflection into deep resolve as we begin the coming year.
