Pricing

$180 - The fee will include the cost of meals and all materials for the seminar. While the program is funded in large part through a Federation Leadership endowment fund, the cost will supplement programming fees and reading materials.

Application Process

Participants will also be asked to answer questions about how the seminar will enhance their professional and volunteer aspirations as well as the Portland Jewish community. For young adults ages 25-40.

Complete applications due September 10; selections made by September 19.
Applicants will be asked to provide the following in the application for the program:

• Resume
   
• Short Answer Question:
  In approximately 2-3 paragraphs (500 words), please explain your objectives and goals as they relate to participating in this program. Also describe what you think other program participants may learn from you (e.g., perspectives, skills, expertise).
   
• Essay:
  In a one page essay, please write about your values, aspirations and the life experiences that have led to your decision to apply to this program.
   
• Letters of Recommendation:
  Please include letters from two references explaining how your background and experience would contribute to the leadership class, why you should be considered for and what you would gain from the Leadership Development Program.
