Prof. Shaul Stampfer, of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, will join the Harold Schnitzer Family Program in Judaic Studies at Portland State once again to give a lecture entitled: 

Uncovering Facts When There Aren't Any Sources - The Hidden History of How Jews First Settled in Eastern Europe

Professor Stampfer is a graduate of Yeshiva University and Hebrew University and a researcher of East European Jewry specializing in Lithuanian yeshivas, Jewish demography, migration and education.
