Rabbi Johanna Hershenson of Temple Beth Tikvah in Bend, Oregon is presenting three series of lectures with discussion entitled “A Taste of Judaism”. The first series begins on Monday, January 13th at 7:00 p.m. at the St Charles Hospital event center on Neff Street in Bend.
Each of the series consists of three consecutive Monday evening classes. The first series "Rhythms of Jewish Living," begins on Monday, January 13th. The second series "Mechanics of Jewish Sacred Literature" starts on Monday, February 24th, and the third and final series beginning Monday, April 21st is entitled "The 'G' Word."
The courses can be taken independent of each other. The classes are open to the public at a cost of $18 for each of the three series (payable at the door cash or check only).
