Please join the Harold Schnitzer Family Program in Judaic Studies at Portland State University in welcoming Dr. Maya Kahanoff of Hebrew University to Portland.

Dr. Kahanoff will be giving a lecture on social-psychological aspects of the Israeli-Palenstinian conflict on Wednesday, June 24 at 7:00pm in the Smith Memorial Student Union, Rm. 236 (1825 SW Broadway).

Dr. Kahanoff is a graduate of the Masters program in Conflict Resolution at Portland State and a lecturer in the Conflict Research and Resolution Program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is also a research fellow at the Truman Institute for the Advancement of Peace at Hebrew University. Her research interests include dialogue in ethno-national conflicts; reconciliation processes and mechanisms in protracted social conflicts; and collective trauma, healing and reconciliation.
