Celebrate the beginning of summer with Shabbat in the Park on Friday evening

Bring your own picnic, chairs, grill (if that is your thing), AND your musical instruments.  Our Hazzan, Baruch Morris, will be at our reserved picnic area at 5:30 PM and hopes to see most of you by 6:00 for dinner.  Services will start around 7:15 to 7:30-ish and we should be done no later than 9. 

We will be at Wilshire Park picnic area A, near the same shelter P’nai Or uses for the Labor Day picnic (approximately NE 35th and Skidmore). 

Hazzan Baruch says, “I’ve been with the mystics in Tzfat (where Kabbalat Shabbat originated) as they looked to the hills at sunset, but our grass is greener and our trees are taller, also a perfect setting for welcoming Shabbat!”
