Join Rabbi Rose and Judy Margles, Director of OJMCHE, for a special family friendly Chanukah reflection. Chanukah is a story about the relationship of the Jewish people to the surrounding culture. How do we hold on to Jewishness while living within a broader culture? Judy Margles and Rabbi Rose will offer reflections and insight, play highlights from the Museum's Oral History Project and lead a discussion with attendees about deepening Jewish identity in 21st century Portland.
A fun joint event with refreshments and schmoozing. Kid friendly activities include dreidel games, craft projects and a scavenger hunt.
