Please join us for our First Day or religious school for the 2023-24 school year. Guests are welcome to join, and have their children attend this day. We will be onsite to answer questions about our congregation and school. While our school is for the children and grandchildren of congregation members, we are offering a special this school year for the first year of temple membership to be waived with enrollment in our school. Full details at our website: https://www.beithav.org/membershipspecial or contact our office at: office@beithav.org
At Beit Haverim, our religious school helps children build a strong Jewish identity and commitment to Judaism. At every grade level, pre-K through Confirmation, we build community through study and practice of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), Tzedakah (charitable giving), T'fillah (worship), and Torah.
Our Religious School classes for grades pre-K to 7th run for two hours on most Sundays and begin with a weekly T'fillah service. This brief worship service lets students participate in synagogue prayers and find personal meaning in them.
Following Religious School classes, Beit Haverim offers a one-hour Hebrew class for grades 4 and up. This class is available to children also registered in Religious School classes.
