Fun Family Chanukah Program for kids ages 2 ½ to 6 yrs Sunday November 24!! Our Chanukah family program that takes place Sunday November 24 from 9:15am to 11:30pm here at Beth Israel. This is an opportunity to participate in our Religious school, meet other families with same age kids, learn with the clergy and participate in fun Chanukah activities with your family. At 9:15a.m. all families are encouraged to join everyone in the main sanctuary for Mishpacha Minyan, a musical family service. Following the service please make your way to the school auditorium. At this time the clergy will meet with parents on the topic of Chanukah. The children, escorted by Miss Deborah and Miss Rachel, will go into room 9 to enjoy some Chanukah stories, songs and games. At 10:45am we will all meet back in the auditorium to watch a short play by the kindergarten class then have some fun at different stations set up around the auditorium. We will be making: - Dreidel's - Candy dreidels - Picture frames - Chanukah cards There will be latkes to eat and some snacks too! The program for the preschool age families ends at 11:30am so as not to get caught up in the religious school pick up traffic. We hope you will join us for this festive and fun event!
