CELEBRATE SUKKOT AND SHABBAT!

5:00 PM, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29TH AT GESHER, 10701 SW 25th Ave., Portland.

Yom Kippur and the hard work of sitting still is over.  It's time to get moving and hammering. Rabbi Laurie and Rabbi Gary invite you to join them at Gesher to finish building their Sukkah. Young Families are very welcome.  We will pick branches from our property to cover and decorate the Sukkah, and everyone can help with painting it. You can dress in "work clothes." We'll light candles, practice waving the Lulav and Etrog and watch the stars come out and the full moon rise over the sukkah! We'll have a delicious vegetarian meal together in the Sukkah that we build together.

We only have  room for a limited number of guests at each meal this Sukkot Holiday..  RSVP is NECESSARY at www.ourjewishhome.org or at gesher@comcast.net.   Call Rabbi Laurie with any questions - 503 246-5070.

and Saturday, October 1st at 5PM
