Lake Oswego United Church of Christ, Congregation Beit Haverim, and the Muslim Educational Trust celebrate the many things we share in common as people of God, as well as our diversity...
We invite you to join us in a celebration of gratitude - for the love of God, for the love of humankind, for the love of our shared values, and the diverse ways we express our faith. We see ourselves as brothers and sisters, members of both small and large communities seeking to understand ourselves and each other better. Mr. Wajdi Said of Muslim Educational Trust, Rabbi Alan Berg of Beit Haverim, and Pastor Jennie Ott of Lake Oswego United Church of Christ will guide the service with members of each faith community offering their voices in readings, prayers, poetry and music.
By coming together as beloved children of God we hope to make the world a better place for all. Following the service, we will gather over refreshments to get better acquainted. Please invite your family, neighbors, and friends to join us. We see the evening as the first of many opportunities to come together.
