Jewish Stories for Families and Children

Sarah Stein will present an hour of Jewish stories for children 8 yrs. and older and their family. Stories will include one from Chelm, the Jewish land of fools, King Solomon and a funny family of demons. There will also be two participation stories. There will be Jewish music between the stories.

It will be an exciting and fun program and Sarah hopes you can attend.

About Sarah Stein: Sarah is a professional storyteller and founder of the Portland Storytellers Guild.

She was born in New York City in 1944. Many years later she worked as a Children’s Librarian in Portland and that is where she discovered her love for storytelling. She loves telling to children and has many years of experience working with them. She has told in Portland, Seattle, New York City and Germany, where she lived for several years.

Jewish stories are her favorite stories to tell because of their special sense of humor.
