This year, with the generous support of the community, JFCS will once again brighten the holiday season for families in need through our Holiday Campaigns.
The Thanksgiving Food Box campaign will provide 150 households with the ingredients for a delicious and nutritious dinner including turkey and all the trimmings.
Thanksgiving Food Box Assembly and Delivery, November 22nd
- Lead Volunteers for Set-up: 3 volunteers needed. Arrive early to organize the space for assembly of the food boxes. Supervise volunteers during assembly.
- Food Box Assembly: 30 volunteers needed. (Some with strong backs are needed to move boxesand load vehicles.) Help assemble 150 food boxes, assist with loading vehicles, other miscellaneous tasks.
- Drivers with Vehicles: 50 volunteers needed. Each driver will be responsible for delivering 3-4food boxes to families, using a prepared delivery map.
- Delivery Partners: 50 volunteers needed. Ride along with the driver to help navigate and assist incarrying boxes into homes.
