Theatrical Community Passover Seder
Gesher's Rabbis Laurie Rutenberg and Gary Schoenberg invite you and your family to join their caravan of ex-slaves on a journey in search of freedom. This theatrical Passover is highly participatory with lots of activity., We move from a heated tent encampment in the desert, through the Reed Sea to a festive, delicious indoor banquet in celebration of our freedom.
Gesher will provide slave clothing, exit visas and scrumptious kosher for Passover sustenance for the journey. Attuned to the present season, we will search our tradition and our hearts with Passover's questions: "What does it mean to welcome the stranger?,"What is the nature of our journey to freedom today?," "How do we support those more enslaved than we?," Are we yet "ex-slaves"? Bring a pillow to sit on and dress warmly. Adults and children of all ages and all relationships, including singles, are welcome.
RSVP is a must. Visit www.ourjewishhome.org for more information and to reserve your space. Adults: $36; Teens and Students: $22; Children ages 4-12: $14. No one is turned away for inability to contribute.
