B’nai B’rith Camp seeks a dynamic, dedicated Assistant Food Services Director to assist in the operations of all food-related services provided by BB Camp. The Assistant Food Services Director will report to the Food Services Director and work closely and collaboratively with the organization's staff members, community partners, and clients.
Under the direction of the Food Services Director, this position will manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food safety, food quality and freshness, monitoring inventory levels, ensuring proper rotation of inventory, and keeping kitchen equipment in working order. This position is also responsible for front-of-house guest satisfaction, food presentation and service, and the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas. Alongside the Food Services Director, the Assistant Food Services Director will ensure the consistent and smooth running of food production within the designated areas to prepare meals on time.
The right candidate will have the ability to work cooperatively as a team member and maintain positive working relationships. This candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and take initiative on all duties related to this position.
The position will be joining the Kitchen Team. This team has been working diligently to provide excellent food services to guests, campers, and the local community. It is an exciting time at BB Camp, as we are continuing to grow while we celebrate our 100th anniversary, and this position is an excellent opportunity to be part of that success.
