Earlier this week, on the third anniversary of the Hyper Cacher attack, two kosher shops were damaged in a fire near Paris.

Each new year, we take time to reflect on how we can be better people. We make resolutions to exercise more, lose weight, spend more time with family, etc. All are important and anything we can do to maximize those aspirations is a positive. I wish you great success in keeping to them.

The major news in the Jewish (and non-Jewish) world was the U.S. administration’s announcement on Wednesday recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and the relocation of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.
