During the week of December 9th, Lee Gordon, the chair of the Jewish Federation’s Overseas Special Projects Committee, and Bob Horenstein, Director of Allocations and Community Relations, visited several social service programs in Israel that have received funding from our Federation.
Our community’s annual campaign continues to move forward as we have now raised over $2.7 million – with a wonderful 6% donor-for-donor increase.
The momentum is building! I am pleased to report that as of today, the Jewish Federation’s Annual Campaign has already raised over $2.6 million!

Next week, as most of you know, features an anomaly for American Jews – The first day of Hanukkah coincides with Thanksgiving on November 28 (meaning the first eve of Hanukkah is actually the night before Thanksgiving).
