The Jewish High Holidays are quickly approaching (early Sept!). We are fortunate to have a wide array of synagogues and congregations in our community.
My father, of blessed memory, was born in 1935. Four years later his father unexpectedly died, leaving him with just his 32-year old mother and then 9-year old brother.
I hope everyone is enjoying this magnificent summer. For many of us, it is a slower time of year, the opportunity for well-deserved vacations, excursions to the Coast, and perhaps the chance to “wind down” a little. Federation is busy planning for the upcoming year.
